Overview
pixconv.io is built so that your images never leave your device. All conversions happen in your browser; nothing is uploaded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
Image Processing
When you convert a file on pixconv.io, the file is read and processed locally by your browser. No image data is sent over the network at any point.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, referrers, browser types). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and sessions. We use Google's Consent Mode v2, which means analytics cookies are only set after you grant consent via the banner shown on your first visit. Data collected may be processed by Google LLC in the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses.
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by clicking "Decline" on the cookie banner, by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.
Advertising
We may display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve personalised ads based on your interests and browsing history. These cookies are only set if you consent via the cookie banner. You can opt out of personalised ads via:

- Network Advertising Initiative opt-out
If you decline consent or opt out, non-personalised ads may still be shown.
Cookies
pixconv.io uses cookies in the following cases:
- Analytics cookies (
_ga,_gid,_ga_*): Set by Google Analytics when you accept cookies. These expire after 2 years (_ga) or 24 hours (_gid). - Advertising cookies: Set by Google AdSense when you accept cookies. Used to serve and measure ads. See Google's advertising technology policy.
- Consent preference (
pixconv_consent): A localStorage entry (not a cookie) that remembers your cookie banner choice. It contains only "granted" or "denied" and never leaves your browser.
If you decline or do not interact with the cookie banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
Hosting & Infrastructure Logs
pixconv.io is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network. When you visit any page, Cloudflare may log your IP address, request timestamps, and HTTP metadata (URL, referrer, user-agent) for security, abuse prevention, and network diagnostics. These server-side logs are subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and are not controlled by pixconv.io.
Pre-Consent Network Requests
The Google AdSense script (adsbygoogle.js) is loaded only
after the page is fully idle and only on the pixconv.io production domain.
However, because the script is fetched from Google's servers as soon as
the page loads, Google may observe your IP address and referrer before
you interact with the cookie consent banner. Similarly, once you grant
consent, Google Analytics sends your anonymised usage data to Google LLC.
If you wish to prevent any network contact with Google, you may use a
browser extension that blocks ad and analytics scripts.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights including access, rectification, and erasure of personal data. Analytics data is collected via Google Analytics subject to Google's data processing terms. Because we do not independently store personal data or images, there is generally no additional data to access or delete. For questions about your rights, contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
pixconv.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
